Guide: Google Drive backup
Conquish can copy the documents you upload into your own Google Drive, filed by type. It never reads or searches the rest of your Drive — it only touches the files it puts there.
Open DocumentsConnecting
- Open Documents and connect Google Drive.
- Choose the Google account where you want the copies kept.
- Conquish is only allowed to create and update its own files in your Drive.
Backing up
- Documents you upload to Conquish are copied into your own Drive.
- They land under Conquish / Documents, filed as Insurance, Vehicles, Property, Money or Other.
- Back up one document at a time, or press Back up all.
- Switch on Automatic and every new upload is copied across once Conquish has read it.
- Backing up again updates the same file in Drive instead of making a copy.
- If you connected before backups existed, reconnect once to grant the extra permission.
If it stops
Google occasionally asks you to sign in again. Conquish shows a reconnect prompt and you can disconnect at any time from the Documents page.
